May has been a fun and busy month so far with our Soccer sessions on Monday mornings and also Drumming with Eddie on Thursdays.
We have really enjoyed using the various drums and are practising lots for our concert next week!
First and Second Class have been learning all about Ancient Egypt. We enjoyed practising our own hieroglyphics by writing our names, we learned about and discussed the lifestyles of the different people groups that lived there and created our own Egyptian landscapes too. We really enjoyed learning about King Tutankhamum and created our own sarcophagus out of clay.
Some of First and Second Class are getting involved in the polytunnel during break time, helping to water and care for our plants. Our peas are especially doing well!
