We made penguins today. We used socks to make them. It was great fun . We enjoyed creating them.

What a super day we had today. We learned lots about how to help people when they are sick or injured. We practiced CPR. Please memorise your eircode. This is very important if you need to ring an ambulance.

We have developed our maths skills this month by playing a number of maths games. Second class completed work on the 100 square and then reinforced their learning by working in groups on games such as 'Race to 100' and 'Number Crash'. Well done to Second Class.

We love our Maths class, especially when we can learn through fun games. This month we worked hard to learn all about numbers greater than 10. We had to go to the bank to exchange 10 units for a ten. If you got to 50 first you were the winner.

We really enjoyed our art class this week. After learning lots of facts about owls in our science class we decided it was time to use our creative talents to paint an owl.

We have worked on some super Halloween Art Projects this month. First and Second Class pupils especially enjoyed their circular pumpkin weaving. We have some spooky looking pumpkins displayed in the hallway.
